The simplest way of locating information is to use the keyword field. Entering a keyword in this field will provide the broadest search possible, but may also produce information not relevant to the original inquiry. For instance, a search on the word oncogene, will not only list records relevant to oncogenes but those also containing references from the journal Oncogene.  

However, using the keyword search option is a great way to get an idea of the breadth and complexity of the search, and ensure that any more limited and targeted searches performed subsequently, reflect the data in nm|OK. For instance, if the keyword leukemia comes up with 100 entries, but a more targeted search under indication comes up with 20, it is likely that somehow an incorrect search has been performed.
